In my recent article, “Jobs, Baby, Jobs”, the idea of job creation and common sense dominated the main theme. As conservatives, libertarians or moderates we realize that now President Barack H. Obama is our new Commander and Chief, but we can always look towards the future. Vice Presidential candidate, Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska, during the debates, once suggested that America return to basics.

Although housing is a basic need of life, Helen, a college- educated mother of five, became homeless in 1993 after she divorced her husband of thirteen years and lost custody of their children.

The Case for Housing Choice

From Harlem to Atlanta, the site of huge project buildings can be a sore spot for any developing community. The question that many people have concerning these government run facilities is are they empowering people or are they hindering them?
