Below is a recent nationwide compilation of the most recent black Republican candidates who are seeking a run for elected office this year. While there numbers are small in comparison to Democrats there willingness to pursue public service is a testament to each individual. As someone who has worked on many minority Republican campaigns believe me such races can be the most grueling of sports.
