Quick, name one community that has prospered by allowing its least intelligent, least moral segment to take control of its streets?

Those who quickly came up with, “None!” have addressed where I feel inner city America is headed- at warp speed!

The sub-culture that mass produces the twisted parodies of human functioning seen in ‘hoods from coast to coast is Black America’s number one hometown security threat.

Barring a killing spree by racists in police uniforms or foreign terrorists targeting the inner city over mainstream targets, thugs take the cake as our primary threat to safety.

Hometown security is a phrase generally used to describe safety measures on the municipal and neighborhood level, usually against individual criminals and gangs, as opposed to homeland security’s focus on terrorists often with international backing.

Hometown security is my big interest since Al Thugga, not Al Queda, is presently running wild in my community.

Islamo-fascism is a problem to be sure but so are hometown terrorists exploiting the disorganization of inner cities and Black America at large on the hometown security front.

Civil order activists have to snatch the baton away from traditional civil rights organizations like the NAACP. SCLC, etc. and take the moral high ground on what’s happening in our neighborhoods.

The 1960s approach has exhausted its political capital and is an impediment to solving current internal problems.

Tap dancing around just how unacceptable the thug sub-culture is means keeping pace with our own self-destruction.

Calling a spade a spade is what this calls for: embarrassing thugs and their sympathizers is step one in driving this behavior out of the minds of our youth.

When stupid, violent people hold your community hostage, you only have yourselves to blame. Standing up to them is the 21st Century version of the marches and freedom rides that opened past doors.

Can an idiot in baggy jeans possibly be more formidable than the whole of the Jim Crow South, hooded hoodlums and redneck police included?

Are lunatics destroying inner cities to a rap soundtrack more powerful than Plessy verses Ferguson’s limiting legacy?

Give me a break! Al Thugga is making such in roads because we’ve allowed them to- simple as that.

We’ve surrendered to thugs because they are often our children and can’t muster the backbone to put them in check.

Sadly, either we do it or others are more than willing to do the job for us.

Al Thugga is my nickname for inner city terrorists who run wild without much opposition from the Black community.

Bereft of twisted political or even warped religious motivation, our terrorists have taken machismo to murderous lows while many who should be up in arms against them busily make excuses.

Al Thugga has infiltrated Hip Hop; it’s co-opted our value system and erodes safety and survival stats to third world levels while the Civil Rights Establishment and many Black politicians whistle “Dixie.”

Al Thugga’s goal seems to be nothing short of total domination of the inner city regardless of what would-be hostages think or feel.

Al Thugga is the number one hometown security threat to inner city life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.

Until we make them Public Enemy Number One in Black America inaction suggests we’ve willingly placed this serpent in our garden at our throats.

These guys are venomous- not victims to be pitied and lavished with social program dollars.
Recasting them as victims creates more real victims as their siege continues unchecked.

The essential question of the 21st Century is when will Black America draw her line in the concrete against Al Thugga?

WEB DuBois famously predicted the color line was the great issue of the preceding century.

The day we draw the line against Al Thugga is when newer, better history can be written.
