The America I AM Exhibit is a new traveling exhibit that features a collection of historical pieces documenting the role that African Americans have played in shaping America throughout history.

The I AM Exhibit is a must see for history buffs and parents alike. You will be enlightened by the many historical figures that shaped this great nation and the tremendous sorrow it took for them to become genuine citizens. (http://americaiam.org/) 

Wal-Mart who is sponsoring the exhibit recently had its senior vice president of corporate affairs, Esther Silver-Parker; write an Op-Ed piece for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution back in April, who sheds some light on why the company is passionate about partnering with the exhibit: Esther Silver-Parker’s piece discusses how “giving back is one of the best ways to honor and exemplify the spirit of black history and make a big difference at the same time.”

The exhibit will held at the Atlanta Civic Center until September 6th in the Atlanta, GA.  According to the website the tickets are $12 per adult, $10 if purchased at Wal-Mart stores in Georgia.
