Andre Harper: The Great Hate Debate

To no surprise the liberal media immediately blamed conservatives for the shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. Is anyone surprised? They blame conservative media personalities for everything, which is partly why the industry is drying up because of their bias and predictability. During this national tragedy, many conservatives will encourage you to take the high road. They will dismiss liberal accusations as typical (which they are.) I say, this is the time we should accept the challenge.
Liberals try to connect talk radio (conservatism) with violence and hate. Media can only use communication to inform and influence, not (overtly) control others. The liberal argument is that conservative pundits have been encouraging violence and this tragedy is the result of it. We now have 10 killed in a country that averages over 15,000 murders a year that liberal media ignores. So if these 10 deaths were motivated by conservatives, who motivated the other 14,990? Here’s a clue:
Lil Wayne: “Fuck that nigga, kill that nigga, bring him back, kill him again”
Barack Obama: “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun”
Chris Matthews: “In the end (of a Bond film) they jammed a big CO2 pellet in his face, and he blew up. I have to tell you, Rush Limbaugh is beginning to look more and more like Mr. Big. And at some point somebody is going to jam a CO2 pellet into his head and he’s going to explode like a giant blimp. That day may come.”
Ed Schultz: “If I lived in Massachusetts, I’d try to vote ten times. Yeah that’s right. I’d cheat to keep these bastards out. I would. Because that’s exactly what they are.”
Black men kill each other daily in our communities and the liberal media argues that these killings have nothing to do with the violent music or movies they consume. However, they do want you to believe that conservative rhetoric encourages violence. With their rationale, either the daily mass murder of black men is encouraged by conservatives or liberals could care less about the daily deaths of black people. The answer is they don’t care about blacks. Urban slaughter doesn’t support their march to socialism, so these “compassionate” people could care less. Black leaders like Jim Clyburn turn their head to the daily plight of their people and instead focus their effort to shape a random incident into political fuel.
This is a debate that we should accept. I encourage you to engage your liberal counterpart. Beforehand, agree to a uniform list of rules and words that are considered hateful rhetoric. Once you both agree on the uniform standards, compare your actual examples of hateful rhetoric with theirs. Keep score. If you complete this exercise, it will be a blowout in your favor.
Don’t get too excited, your liberal counterpart will probably figure out beforehand that he can’t win. You probably won’t get them to agree to a uniform standard because they know that the truth conflicts with their accusations. As you can see, the media echo chamber will continue to accuse conservatives of hateful rhetoric. The goal is to associate any opposition to liberalism as racism and hate.
Remember, the media template is consistent. This whole situation is nothing more than liberals trying to exploit another tragedy to advance this purpose. The Liberals have been pushing for the reinstatement of the fairness doctrine for years. So they are using the deaths of these unfortunate people for political purposes. While they readily admit that they have no evidence to connect the shooter with anyone on talk radio, it doesn’t matter because they are using the situation to advance their narrative. Facts don’t matter with these people but they matter to us, so use them.
So while some conservatives may decide to sit this one out, don’t. Take this golden opportunity to contrast their words against their rhetoric. Don’t waste it!

I would argue that the majority make the mistake of comparing and labeling liberals and conservatives as if there really is a difference. All politicians are motivated by one thing, HOW TO WIN THE NEXT ELECTION. Accusing Liberals of being on a “march to socialism” as you put it, is just as bad as liberals blaming republicans for the unfortunate incident that happend in Arizona. All politicians are slaves to their base and there is no such thing as being moderate. In order to get the support and money of their constituents as a Dem, you have to left sometimes far left. As a Republican, you have to go right, sometimes far right to out do the competition. By the time you get to a general election you have two sides “debating” beating their chests and not solving problems.
The very fact that we talk about winning and loosing win it comes to debating highlights the problem which is MAKING A POINT IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN SOLVING PROBLEMS. In your third paragraph you say “Keep score. If you complete this exercise, it will be a blowout in your favor.” I ask you, what problem has been solved in that exercise? Not one, just another tit for tat, gotcha argument with no ending.
Some liberals have exploited this passed tragedy just as Conservatives exploited the underwear bomber incident stating that the President is soft on national security. We can do this back and forth all day and one of us may “win” the argument but at the end of the day ask yourself “Did we fix the problem?”
