On Friday night, HHR Blog was invited to an event sponsored by “ICED MEDIA” and RHYMESAYERS ENTERTAINMENT to cover rapper Freeway and Jake One’s album preview. The event was a way for the artist to mingle with loyal fans before they dropped there album entitled “The Stimulus” on Tuesday (2/16).

The event, was originally scheduled for this Thursday at the world renowned Bouley’s, on West Broadway. David Bouley, the famous chef and restaurateur, owns the place. Just as a testament to the popularity of this place, in 1991, Zagat’s asked its 7,000 diners, “Where you would you eat the last meal of your life?” and most of its readers overwhelmingly answered, “Bouley”.

I wish we could have gone, but the event was postponed until the next day. On Friday, HHR Blog got to the party around 9:30pm, where we found a packed house of excited fans, mixed in with old and new media all trying to meet and interview the artist.
