Lenny McAllister to be Featured in CNN’s “”Young & Black In America” Friday

Political and social commentator and author Lenny McAllister (of “Hip Hop Republican” notoriety) will be one of 5-7 select panelists participating in “Young & Black In America: Empowering the Next Generation of African American Leaders,” a panel discussion hosted by CNN & The Root during Congressional Black Caucus Weekend in the nation’s capital.
The 90-minute discussion will be held in Washington, DC on Friday, September 25 at 1:30 PM EST at the Newseum – Knight Studio on Pennsylvania Avenue, NW. In addition to McAllister (pictured center in the photo), the discussion panel is tentatively set to include NAACP President Ben Jealous and best-selling author and actor Hill Harper.
The panel will be moderated by award-winning journalist Ms. Suzanne Malveaux (pictured left).
The Shady Side Academy and Davidson College alum was recently featured again on Chicago’s WVON-AM 1660, filling in for CNN contributor Donna Brazille as a guest on “The Cliff Kelley Show” as well as on XM Radio’s “The Power Table” and Fox Charlotte’s “Fox News Rising”;
