Pictures & Death Threats from Liberals toward Bush: Aggh, How the Left Forgets

120-2044_imgThe left in America has tunnel vision they see and hear what they want to see and hear. How many of them remained silent when death threats were directed at Bush? How many were outraged when images of Bush were being hung with blood pouring from his head at so called “Peace Rallies”.

No, they were silent when the same things where happening to Bush. They were giddy and happy when it was Bush! They laughed and sang songs and joked and promoted there hate with graffiti on subways an corner streets. They mocked his religion his family and his intelligence. The ones calling for civility today were silent when the target was a Republican.

Thanks to the blog ZOOMBIE TIME The treatment of Bush was far worse than anything Obama has ever gone through lets take a walk down memory lane shall we?http://www.zombietime.com/zomblog/?p=621

- A man who in 2008 made verbal threats towards Bush at the White House fence where he left a suspicious package;

- A student who was quoted in a 2007 school publication as saying, “I would like to shoot George W. Bush, because in my opinion he is the worst president ever. After that was accomplished, I would be known as a national hero”;

- A mentally deranged man who threatened to blow up the White House in January of 2009;

- A graduate student who posted online threats against Bush in 2006;

- A guy who was turned in to the authorities by his own girlfriend after he threatened to kill Bush during a phone call;

…and so on.

  1. there are crazies on the left and right. correct me if i’m wrong, i don’t recall democratic elected officials embracing these people and furthering their craziness (ie. birthers). that’s where it goes too far, when you find out your elected official is one of the crazies or supports the crazies. although these signs are too far, none of them have any racial insults on them like “obama bin lyin”, obama as an african witch doctor, obama’s keyan birth certificate, obama is a muslim…etc

  2. Actualy yes …how many people like Van Jones “TRUTHERS” on the left signed that document saying Bush may have been involved in 9/11???

    Signatories

  4. Oh by the way many of these protest happened before the Iraq War when they were saying 9/11 was an inside job??? How many Democrat congress people went to these Rallies?

  5. Do you recall a promotional photo from the mock-docmentary film “Death of a President,” showing Bush being killed. You can watch a short clip of the film’s assassination sequence here on YouTube.

  6. The so-called “Party of Personal Responsibility” is using the “they did it first” excuse to ignore what’s happening from within?

    First, that excuse wasn’t valid when we were in Kindergarden, and it is not valid now. Just because the other party “condone” this idiocy doesn’t mean you are free to do the same, if you consider yourself a responsible person.

    Second, this taints the idea of “Party of Personal Responsibility” because the slogan becomes a cloak to be discarded when it’s no longer convenient, not a cornerstone for the Republicans to live by.

    Lastly, the Democrats, for all their failures, at least kept the crazies from hijacking completely the party. We didn’t see elected officials submitting legislation validating their views (like Rep. Bill Posey and at least 10 other House Republicans did with the birthers) or celebrating them publicly (Sen. Grassley and Sarah Palin did with the deathers).

  7. No…..sorry you got it backwards..but that so okay. What I am just saying is that extrems occur on both sides of the aisle thus both sides should be consistent in there outrage. As simple as that! And what objective judge are you to define what is crazy? I am curious who made you this beacon of objectivity?

  8. i never said that crazies didn’t exist on the left and right. what i said was any DEMOCRATIC ELECTED OFFICIALS that supported the crazies.

    people associated with a political party from your truther list:

    6. Michael Badnarik, Libertarian candidate for President
    15. John Buchanan, author, candidate for the Republican Party Presidential nomination, 2004
    21. David Cobb, attorney, national presidential candidate, US Green Party
    41. Doris “Granny D” Haddock, campaign finance crusader, NH Democratic candidate for Senate
    51. John Joseph Kennedy, Democratic Write-in Presidential Candidate for 2004
    63. Cynthia McKinney, five-term Congresswoman from Georgia
    68. Ralph Nader, Independent candidate for President
    80. John Rensenbrink, professor emeritus, Bowdoin College, co-founder, US Green Party

    the only elected official at the time was cynthia mckinney (d). she is a certified crazy and was not re-elected. this list was supposed to expose van jones #47. but this list also includes people from the goverment, military personel, and intelligence agencies:
    4. Catherine Austin Fitts, Asst. Secretary of Housing in the first Bush administration
    14. Dr. Robert Bowman, USAF Lt. Col. (Rtd.), founder, Institute for Space and Security Studies
    37. Stan Goff, 25-year Army Special Ops veteran, author, Full Spectrum Disorder
    38. Melvin Goodman, senior fellow, Center for International Policy, author, former Senior Analyst, CIA, professor, National War College
    39. Morton Goulder, Deputy Secretary for Intelligence and Warning under Nixon, Ford, and Carter
    61. John McCarthy, former Special Forces Captain, president, Veterans Equal Rights Protection Advocacy
    62. Ray McGovern, former CIA analyst, co-founder, Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity
    74. Edward L. Peck, former US Ambassador and Chief of Mission to Iraq, former Deputy Director to the White House Task Force on Terrorism
    93. J. Michael Springmann, attorney, former Foreign Service Officer, US Department of State

    any DEMOCRATIC ELECTED OFFICIALS that supported the crazies?

  9. Was Van Jones an official or was he just a vistor to the White House??

  10. In 2006, as if on cue the 9/11 Truth Movement seemed to ratchet up speed quite a bit, noticeably right around the time that the Democrats started heavily campaigning to throw Bush out of the White House in the upcoming elections in 2008. The Democratic left supported the 9/11 Truthers and people like Cindy Sheehan as it was the best way to assure that a Republican would not occupy the White House from 2009-2013. [2008-2012]. It was an all out rally against Bush, Cheney and the entire Republican Party and they would all join forces in an “Anti-War” posture to oust Bush. Hillary Clinton, Barack Hussein Obama all joined in on the anti-war rhetoric as it insured votes

  11. your last post if from: http://homelandsecurityus.com/?p=3043

    how did you lump the truthers with the anti-iraq war movement? 2 totally different things. cindy sheehan is against the iraq war. her son was killed for a war in which no wmd were found (the reason why we went to war). you do know that Hillary Rodham Clinton voted for the iraq war. your bias is less obvious if you use everyone’s middle name ;)

  12. Because they protest started after Afghanistan after we were atatcked on 9/11 THIS WAS BEFORE THE IRAQ WAR!!..

  13. Yes she voted for it …so what she still raised money and spoke at anti war events did she not? Where there no 9/11 truthers there??

  14. There were people protesting in Afghanistan out of principle they were opposed to war but did not think Bush did it! These guys however stole the show and where allowed to speak on the same platform that Democrat who opposed the war in Afghanistan did. This same group continued also into the early start of the Iraq war.

  15. ====
    No…..sorry you got it backwards..but that so okay.
    ====

    What did I get wrong? Please explain.

    ====
    What I am just saying is that extrems occur on both sides of the aisle thus both sides should be consistent in there outrage. As simple as that!
    ====

    Then, take responsibility for your crazies. It’s not enough to say “They did it first!” and call it a day. We can’t elevate the democratic discourse if we just ignore these incidents, from whichever party it comes.

    ====
    And what objective judge are you to define what is crazy? I am curious who made you this beacon of objectivity?
    ====

    You’re telling me that making things up about imaginary threats, and repeating them ad nauseum is not sign of craziness?

    The same guy that named you also a beacon of objectivity. I’m telling you, he’s been doing a horrible job as of late. I mean, naming me as a beacon of objectivity? He was out of his mind when he did it! I even appealed his decision, but lost the appeal.*

    * Take this paragraph as an absurd attempt at humor that is not that funny.

  16. There’s something curious about the articles you link in the original post. All these incidents ended either with swift arrests or harsh interrogations. These were either lonely loons (first & third & fifth) or people who should have known better (second and fourth). What all these guys lacked was the exposure to propagate their virulent ( ala http://videocafe.crooksandliars.com/cspanjunkie/barack-obama-has-deep-seated-hatred-wh ).

    Thankfully, the Secret Service doesn’t slow down their work ( http://videocafe.crooksandliars.com/cspanjunkie/why-i-hate-barack-obama-pastor-steven ).

  17. brady (r -tx) is protesting the service of the dc metro system during the tea party on 9-12-09. just this past summer (july 2009), brady (r – tx) voted against a bill (hr3288) that would have provided $150 million for the maintence of the dc metro.

    http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2009/09/16/tea-party-protesters-protest-dc-metro-service/

    if you don’t see it then what more can i say?

  18. Please explain how all 55 million Republicans should take responsibility for a few people? Should we arrest them? Smack them around? I am curious? And you keep mentioning Rush Limbaugh, there 55 million registered Republicans only 2 million Americans listen to Rush. When the left did did not take responsibility when an Air America radio host threatened to kill Bush??? Did liberal groups demand that she be fired? Stop demanding of other what you clearly can not do yourselves.

  19. Let’s take a look at some of the deplorable comments that have been said about some of our friends on the Right:

    Nobel Prize Winner Betty Williams 2007: “Right now, I could kill George Bush,” she said. “No, I don’t mean that. How could you nonviolently kill somebody? I would love to be able to do that.” The irony here is folks is that she was speaking to a group of over a thousand people regarding peace talks and explaining how ‘violence is a choice’.

    Russell Brand @ the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards:
    “But I know America to be a forward thinking country because otherwise why would you have let that retard and cowboy fella be president for eight years?”

    Wanda Sykes @ the 2009 White House Correspondents Dinner:
    “Rush Limbaugh — I hope the country fails. I hope his kidneys fail, how about that?“He needs a waterboarding, that’s what he needs.”

    Pelosi goes on to say: “Our country is great because people can say what they think and they believe,” “But I also think that they have to take responsibility for any incitement that they may cause.”

    When did any of those individuals from the aforementioned quotes take proper responsibility for their actions? Some of their comments were even laughed at by our current President.

    respect is a two way street. If you wanna get it, you have to give it.

  20. Did you even read what you wrote? First off, all the links you provided show pictures AFTER the Iraq War. A war we went into that Bush LIED about and didn’t have the intelligence he claimed he had. This is also AFTER Gitmo, torture, prisoner abuse, domestic wiretapping, the Patriot Act, Republicans saying that if we aren’t for the War then we are supporting terrorists, etc etc etc. I can see why people were pissed. What has Obama done? And before you say “spend too much”, compare GOING TO WAR with spending to much and tell me if it’s even close (especially considering Bush spent more money on war while Obama wants to spend it on Health Care).

    Then….as if this false equivalency wasn’t enough, you then list:

    Russell Brand – He’s not even American
    Wanda Sykes – Who was responding to Rush Limbaugh who had been going around an saying (repeatedly) “I hope the President fails”. Not to mention, according to republicans, waterboarding ISN”T torture *rolls eyes*
    Pelosi – Who while I have my issues with her, she was responding to the birthers and people showing up to town halls acting like idiots instead of trying to have a real discussion

  21. You are correct, HHR. Respect is a two way street. Should I show you how the Republicans mistreated President Bill Clinton during his administration? Meanwhile, get ready to show my how the Democrats trashed Presidents Ronald Reagan and George HW Bush. All the while I gather information on how the Republicans attacked Presidents Lyndon Johnson and Carter. And…

    This is an ad infinitum argument. The other side always did something to receive the “righteous” fury of my side. We need real leaders to stop the “but they did it first!” arguments to defend the rotten apples actions. It’s the Republican turn now. With a lot of luck, the Democrats will get their turn to stop theirs.
