(hat tip: Ryan Frazier for Colorado): Ryan Frazier’s Congressional Campaign received a $2,500 check from former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney’s Free and Strong America Political Action Committee. Romney, who is an early frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012, officially endorsed Frazier’s bid for Colorado’s 7th Congressional District last week. Romney has made a series of endorsements that “are aimed at electing conservative candidates who will work to lower taxes and spending, restore commonsense principles to healthcare and get our economy moving again.”
Frazier said, “Mitt is a well-respected and talented businessman that turned around failing companies and created jobs. He is committed to economic policies that will reduce the size of government and put Americans back to work—and it is an honor to have his support.”
Romney’s endorsement comes on the heels of Frazier’s impressive 64%-36% victory in the Republican primary.
“This is the time when our party needs to come together, stand on principle, and get our country going in the right direction. Prosperity is possible—but it will take a new set of leaders that will provide real solutions to our country’s problems,” Frazier added.
