How many of you remember the 1984 Wendy’s commercial catch phrase “Where’s the Beef” popularized by actress Clara Peller? We all recall her face of disgust when she gets a huge bun thrown at her only to find a tiny patty inside. In anger she says “Where’s the Beef’? Well, in a similar way many civil rights leaders are looking at Obama’s mass spending bailout and asking “Where’s the Jobs”.
According to the New York Times many of the nation’s largest Civil Rights organizations in the nation is slowly becoming alarmed by the loss in jobs in urban and minority communities. Many in the civil rights movement lobbied hard to get the stimulus passed so that relief would come quickly to there areas. The article seems to suggest that even President Obama” s fiercest allies are becoming more than a little suspect!
NYT:“Since President Obama rammed through Congress his reckless $787 billion stimulus bill the number of unemployed Americans has been steadily increasing, especially among African-Americans. For months that the president’s stimulus bill has failed to create the jobs he promised, and now the NAACP recognizes it, too. With the unemployment rate for African Americans currently at more than 15%, five points higher than the national average, it is time President Obama stop spreading his phony ‘saved or created’ talking points and start creating the dependable jobs all Americans need.”
Where’s the Beef…I mean the jobs?

Good to see more and more people waking up to what Obama and company are Really about.
Personally, I don’t trust or believe anything that comes out of his mouth.
I tell you what, I’m so upset with the lack of jobs, that I’m to the point of giving up! I went back to college to obtain a degree and I haven’t landed a job yet! Despite the fact that I graduated in August 09, I have faithfully put in more resumes than I can remember. It’s gets very discouraging. I understand that I am not the only one out there applying for the same position, but damn I would like to land a job! Like most unemployed people trying to find something worthwhile that offers a decent paycheck, benefits and security, many of us are to the point, we’ll take almost anything. Perhaps I sound down and miserable, but I tell you what, if the Politicans really gave a damn, they should understand that most to the voters want to work, pay bills, save up for retirement, and have pride in honor as working citizens, It truly hurts when you are qualified in your field and you can’t find a decent job. It’s sad, painful and scary. I can see many problems when individuals can’t find work, Increase in crime, homeless families, suicide and more. I tell you, like everybody is screaming out in disgust and dispair, where are the damn jobs?! What type of future will our children and thier children have?! Large companies are bailing out and moving thier businesses overseas for cheaper labor, Job sites are listing positions that they have an extreme shortage in and not one of these business are looking at starting individuals as “entry level” or provide training seminars….I’m mad, I can’t do this anymore.
