Newly-elected Gloucester County GOP Chairman Bill Fey and Assembly Majority Leader Alex DeCroce (R-Parsippany) have called on Lucas to drop out of the race amidst other allegations of racially insensitive remarks. Don’t expect Lucas to leave the race anytime soon.

Good to know that decent people have no time for Lucas, who by the way, sounds like a graduate from the Cynthia McKinney School Of Racial Tolerance.
This week has seen a flurry of accusations of racism in the Republican Party. Early in the week, reports from bloggers and The Daily Beast showed that a candidate for the YR’s (Audra Shay (who won today) was embroiled in a racist scandal via facebook. The YR’s held there convention today and the candidate embroiled in the scandal won today.
The Daily Beast Blog- Audra Shay, accused of endorsing racism on Facebook, became head of the Young Republicans on Saturday.

Moreover, just recently Lee Lucas, NJ GOP Assembly Candidate said this to blacks in his neighborhood. “If You Want To Act Like Niggers, Go Back To Paulsboro”.

So with all these events how do we as black Republicans deal with these and many other incidents. Of course Democrats love this stuff because it help create a false image of our party, and allows folks to ignore there long past of racial brutality. It also makes it harder for Republicans to do outreach when this is the image of our Party.
So the forum for this week is How to Deal with Racism in both Parties?
This is the cancer that continues to plague the GOP. As a Republican I am highly offended and the only ignorant “nigga” I see is this idot named Lee Lucas.

You lost fair and square! Audry is the future of the party and if you do not like it perhaps, you can go to another party where you will feel more welcome. The real racists are Democrats who keep blacks in failing schools and push the welfare state. Christianity and the family as we know it is under assault and illegals from Mexico and the Caribbean are crossing our borders and all you can talk about are some comments on a facebook page. Audrey won and we need to rally around her for case closed.

Black republicans should either loudly protest and demand these people adopt a respectful stance towards ALL people; or simply leave.
There is absolutely no false image. The republican party has at heart been this way for decades. Now, since the party is unraveling, leaving the base, we are observing more closely this rotten core. If you want to surround yourself with people who hate you in hopes to eventually change the party, there is some nobility in that. However, to deny the nature of these people is to be a chump.
The democrats, for all their problems, have just elected the first black president, one who married a black woman, and one who self-identifies as black. The republicans appointed Michael Steele, a guy who apologizes for Limbaugh. Republicans are their own worst enemy with blacks of all political stripes, and I can’t image them doing any outreach to us anytime soon. Good luck with that.

This has been an eye-opener of a year for the GOP & Blacks who are coonish enough to think they are not the ones being talked about in these racist rants, its beyond me how anyone can stand by and be affiliated with such flith all in the name of politic’s? They say Blacks are a Loyal people geezzzzzz i think this is border-line self-hate if anything, and NOT once has any GOP commentator nor polictician EVER appauled the president for being a man of Family Values instead they’d rather ignore the truth and fall in line with the EVIL of lies(Yes lying is a SIN)

But is your entire argument “blacks should remove themselves of any institution that has members, who’ve said racist things” If that’s the case we as blacks would have to leave the country perhaps the planet much less join “any” political party….and especially not the Democrat Party with its racist past.
During some of the darkest days of the march to civil rights Blacks joined the Democrat Party because of the New Deal and many of its relief efforts not because the Democrats were free of racism. At a time when the South was still hanging black folks, many Democrats still got a larger number of the black vote. Therefore, to tell blacks Republicans we should leave our party over some comments on a facebook page is a bit hilarious to say the least.

Strom Thurmond would have loved him(Lucas). Cynthia McKinney would have never said “if you want to act like a redneck, go back to the Georgia woods.” He sounds like a soul mate of David Duke.

What I think black republicans should do is start a whole new political platform. With conservative values but without the inbred white racist. Let the fat mouth drug addict limbaughs destroy themselfs with hate.
When the Republicans, back in the late 60s and early 70s were looking for a new base, they adopted the “Southern Conference”, which upped its numbers by registering thousands of KKK members – this is where this radical base comes from, and it isn’t going to “go away”. By aligning themselves with those of this ilk, they have doomed the party as far as racial harmony goes. It’s all in the history books – just look it up and KNOW FROM WHENCE YOU CAME!
