Richard Ivory - Publisher
Richard is the Publisher and Founder, of Hip-HopRepublican.com, a blog that delves into urban issues from a centrist perspective. Mr. Ivory is a political consultant who has worked on over a dozen political campaigns around the country. He has worked for both the Republican National Committee and was the College outreach director for Republican Youth Majority. He is the founder of The John Langston Forum and is at present the College outreach director for Republicans for Black Empowerment. In 2008, he finished an internship with one of the largest labor/ business advocacy groups in the nation the Business and Labor Coalition of New York. During this election season, Richard covered the inauguration of President Obama, for The BBC World News. Besides working in the political arena, he advocates for the homeless and mentally ill.
As a centrist leaning Republican, Richard has been featured on BET, The BBC, The New York Times, National Public Radio, CNN and US News & World Report. He is presently a political contributor to FrumForum.com a site started by former presidential speechwriter David Frum. FF is dedicated to the modernization and renewal of the Republican Party.

Tiffany Shorter- Editor in Chief
As a Political Strategist, Tiffany serves as Editor in Chief of HipHopRepublican.com. She has been featured on FOX News, BBC, BET, CNN, The Telegraph (United Kingdom), and Avui (Spain). Tiffany is also a regular guest on FOX News Strategy Room, a live online program.
On urban issues Tiffany appeared in Ben Abel-Bey’s documentary “Young, Black & Republican” and in The Grio’s featured article “Black Republicans voice concern about GOP’s future”. Recently she served as the Urban Outreach Co-Chair for the GOP Tech Summit, an initiative of the Republican National Committee. She is also a long-standing member of Republicans for Black Empowerment. Before HHR, Tiffany lived in Europe where served on the leadership team of Republicans Abroad Belgium while earning an LL.M. (Master’s degree) in International Law and International Relations.

Cleo E. Brown - Senior Editor
Cleo E. Brown is a free lance writer and an editor on staff at HHR who received her training as an Historian at California State College (Suma Cum Laude), and The University of California at Davis (M.A.). She was also enrolled in a Ph.D. Program at The University of San Francisco . She also works as an Educator in New York City, New York where she is a Dean of Academic Instruction. She has been interviewed by the UK’s The Daily Globe and The New York Times.
Andrew Simon - HHR Radio Host
Andrew Simon is a young black Canadian conservative and former Vice President 2004-2006 of the Campus Conservatives at the University of Calgary in Calgary, Alta. He has worked and volunteered for Lee Richardson, a Member of Parliament Calgary, Alta. Between 2002-2005 Andrew organized a program focused on underprivileged communities in which, in exchange for volunteering to share a skill, tutor, or mentor, low income adults and their children were eligible to go to lessons taught from any other member of the initiative at no cost. Andrew Simon has won over 40 public speaking awards including the World Independent Schools Public Speaking Champion and the Optimist International Public Speaking Champion award. His public speaking expertise has earned him considerable awards and recognition, including numerous international public speaking championships. Andrew Simon will be running the blogs weekly online podcast which will consist of interviews and opinions offered by Andrew Simon.

James is a Financial Analyst whose describes himself as a Libertarian Republican. James is a graduate of Hofstra University where he studied Political Science and Economics. He is from Brooklyn and has been a Republican since he was eighteen years old. He is a U.S. Army Veteran who has proudly worn the uniform for our nation.
Javier E. David
Javier puts his country first, on Javier’s 18th birthday he was sent to basic combat training in the U.S. Army, where he served for 3 years. During this time, Javier was stationed in Germany and performed a brief tour-of-duty in Kuwait in the immediate aftermath of the Gulf War, before being honorably discharged. Since then, Javier earned a B.A. and later a Master in Public Administration from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). Now he is a successful public relations specialist and advocate for the Republican Party.

Doug is originally from Omaha, NE but currently lives in the Bronx, NY. He is a student at Fordham University where he majors in Finance. He is also Mentor at the Crotona center for boys in the Bronx. His current favorite artist are Curren$y, Z-ro, Clipse while his favorite Politicians are Ron Paul, Tom Coburn, and Gary Johnson.

Ali Akbar is the founder and president of Republic Modern Media. A conservative blogger, he is a contributor to Hip Hop Republican, and co-host of The American Resolve online radio show. He was also the editor-in-chief of Blogs for McCain.
Alexander Benard
Alexander Benard is an attorney in New York. He has worked at the Department of Defense and the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. Alex publishes regularly on foreign policy and the U.S. economy, and his writings have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, the National Review Online, and several other newspapers and magazines. Alex is a graduate of Claremont McKenna College and Stanford Law School.
Brandon Brice
Brandon Brice is a graduate of Howard University and is a former graduate of the New Jersey Eagleton Institute of Politics fellow at Rutgers University. As a long time member of Republicans for Black Empowerment, Brandon is an active contributor to HipHopRepublicans.com. Brandon Brice has worked as a policy intern for the former House Speaker Honorable J. Dennis Hastert and has served as a fellow at the United Nations. He has been featured on C-SPAN’s Road to the White House, BET’s What’s At Stake and Hot97 with Lisa Evers. Brandon is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc, and attends the Greater Abyssinia Baptist Church in Harlem.
Esteban G. Camacho
Esteban G. Camacho was born in 1989 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. There he lived in a lower class family with his single mother for 11 years before moving to the contiguous states. Esteban became involved with politics when he reached his senior year of high school. When he got to college, he immediately pursued further education in the fields of government and economics. A staunch conservative and an advocate of the free market economies of the world, Esteban spends his time researching political backgrounds, economic titles such as Wealth of Nations, and strengthening his conservative base. Esteban believes in personal responsibility, individual liberty, equal opportunity, and in the American dream. Among his favorite quotes is: “What would you attempt if you knew you could not fail?” Esteban resides in Las Cruces, New Mexico and is currently pursuing a degree in Political Science.
Dorian Davis
Starred on MTV’s morning show, MTV Hits, before switching to the other side of the camera to research and develop Iraq coverage for MTV News. Later, he contributed to specials for LOGO and FUSE. Now a freelance writer, Davis is published in Architectural Record, Brainwash Magazine, Business Week Online, Doublethink Online, New York Daily News, New York Republican Record and XY. He lives in NYC.
Leette Eaton-White
A native New Yorker and college student seeking an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic Psychology and has been a Republican since the age of 15.”
Lenny McAllister
Lenny lives in the Charlotte, North Carolina metropolitan area. Before graduating from prestigious Davidson College (NC), Lenny played a role in aiding the long process of procuring nationally- renowned Alpha Phi Alpha as the first historically Black fraternity established on the College’s campus. McAllister was featured as a political commentator and writer during the Republican National Convention for several national and international outlets including CNN, CNN International, BBC World News, and Black Entertainment Television. In addition, McAllister was a guest host on the Fox News primetime webcast with Shepard Smith before Gov. Sarah Palin’s acceptance speech and a featured guest on “ABC News NOW” with Sam Donaldson in primetime before Senator John McCain’s acceptance speech.
Marcus Skelton
As the former chairperson of the DC Young Republicans Marcus contributes a fresh political perspective. Marcus has a strong passion for career development and local politics. He is recently ran for city council in Washington D.C. and continues to work in the black the community. As chapter president of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., he raised thousands of dollars for local charities. Before aspiring to politics, he received his B.S. in Communications from Bowie State University and a M.A. in Human Resource Development.
Dennis Sanders
A pastor living in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He has worked on centrist Republican issues for years, including stints as President of the Minnesota chapter of Log Cabin Republicans (a gay/lesbian advocacy group) and Republicans for Environmental Protection. Dennis blogs at NeoMugwump and happily lives with his partner Daniel and serves two cats, Morris and Felix.
Claudio Simpkins
A third-year Harvard Law student that specializes in foreign policy and international relations. In 2005, Claudio was selected as a Harry S. Truman Scholar for his commitment to public service. During college, he interned with The Conference Board, the Foreign Policy Association, the Institute of International Education in Budapest, Hungary, the Council on Foreign Relations, and the Community Relations Service of the Department of Justice.
