Tuesday’s Republican Convention
So ladies and gentlemen it looks as if Gustav is no longer a hurricane but a tropical storm. The planners at the RNC must be breathing a sigh of relief as yesterday’s main focus centered around service and helping the Gulf State region. Cindy McCain summed up the mood of most delegates and staff I spoke with when she quoted her husband saying “this is a time when we take off our Republican hats and put on our American hats” If you want to get a glimpse at what happened yesterday and get an inside view of today's coverage head over to The Root.com where this blogs coverage of the event is being carried.

Tuesday Schedule
Despite scheduling changes after the hurricane the speakers today will as they did yesterday emphasize the convention’s overall theme, "Country First," which reflects John McCain’s remarkable record of leadership and service to America. Their remarks will also echo themes that have been selected for each of the convention’s four days, which are outlined below:
Monday, Sept. 1
Service"Love of country, my friends, is another way of saying love of your fellow countryman."--Sen. John McCain
Tuesday, Sept. 2
Reform"If you find faults with our country, make it a better one. If you are disappointed with the mistakes of government, join its ranks and correct them."--Sen. John McCain
Wednesday, Sept. 3
Prosperity"America’s best days are still to come."--Sen. John McCain
Thursday, Sept. 4
Peace"Our next president will have a mandate to build an enduring global peace on the foundations of freedom, security, opportunity, prosperity, and hope."--Sen. John McCain

Looks like your site needs more exposure. Great site!!! Not enough comments though: ( I will spread the word! Thank you for your rational voice in the proverbial wilderness.

Saw comment by Beyonce on concreteloop where she states “we all feel part of our country now” because that is what Michelle Obama really meant about being proud for the first time of this country. This country is finally including black people to the level that a black man has been nominated to perhaps become President of the United States. Really believe that we would have had a black presidential nominee like Barack, long time ago if it wasn’t for the disapportionate number of abortions that we have. The abortion rate and premature infant deaths for blacks( not even including murder rate and incarceration) is partly to blame for our losing ground to hispanics in becoming the majority minority. We kill off as many as being made. Are'nt we glad Barack’s mother chose to have him instead of aborting him. He just doesn't realize the magnitude that blacks especially, have been hurt by abortions more than any other race and he is for abortions. We would have had a cure for diabetes long time ago, and would have been over the hurdles of first black anything by now if we did'nt kill of our scientist, groundbreaking black lawyers, politicians, etc. would have had a black Republican candidate competing against Obama which really would have been amazing!!!
by the way, good job of censoring your blog. typically republican
Wow, great blog!! Keep up the good work and the good fight!
