Rappers For McCain?...WORD!!

BREAKING-Uncle Murda Endorses McCain, Will Perform at RNC
BOOKERRISING-We have all read about the multitudes of celebrities who back Sen. Barack Obama's presidential bid. Daddy Yankee, a Hispanic rapper yesterday officially endorsed Sen. John McCain's bid.
(I should see if I can snag an interview with ol' boy for the blog, because it intrigues me).The two rappers join Robert Duvall, James Caan, Stephen Baldwin, Pat Boone, Angie Harmon, Patricia Heaton, Lorenzo Lamas, Jon Voight, reality TV stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Gary Sinise as entertainers who back the moderate-conservative Republican.
Apparently Sen. McCain even held a fundraising event in Beverly Hills yesterday (thus undermining his charge about Sen. Obama being a flighty celebrity).Sorry Johnny, but that list of celebrity supporters is nowhere as hip as Dennis Haysbert, Scarlett Johansson, Kerry Washington, Spike Lee, Oprah Winfrey et al on Barry's side.I'm only 37, but I must be getting old. Before today, I had never even heard of Daddy Yankee or Uncle Murda.
~Hey folks not sure what to think of this but to say you know the GOP is trying to reach out when they start heading to the boogie down Bronx..well what can we at HipHopRepublican say but that "desperate times call for desperate measures"

did you even read that nahright post? and you claim to be the "hip hop republican" and don't know who Uncle Murda is? im smelling disinfo here.
i wish my guy, wale, would endorse mcCain. it'd prolly make my life
Wow. Desperate is right. First ANY rapper/hip hop artist with the name "Uncle" in his moniker, should probably think twice before he jiggaboos it up in front of the melanin challenged RNC. Seriously. Can I ask a question...I can understand being Republican, I'm not a hater, but can SOMEBODY explain to me what John McCain has in common with your average "Hip Hop Republican" or rapper for that matter? All of those stars in the Republican corner (except Baldwin and Boone) are good actors and seem reasonable. I mean I'll accept if you all are voting Republican just because that's your team. But McCain? Really? Romney would have been a good pick, even Giuliani, but McCain? I'm befuddled.
Really?
Why are you black republicans happy about any rappers other then Mc Hammer or Rev Run endorsing your candidate. Do these rappers have the message that represents you... I highly doubt it, so why even affiliate yourselves with these artists who definitely don't practice what you preach.
Can anyone say Hypocrisy?
