So on what do you base this baseless GOP talking point, "Obama is no friend of Israel?"
How good of a friend of Israel has Bush been? How has his War in Iraq which has strengthened Iran (the leading sponsor of terrorism) & been a breeding ground for terrorists or how our push for elections in the Occupied Territories helped Hamas win, giving them legitimacy and an official platform to spew their hate. I guess maybe Bush not getting deeper involved in the Palestinian/Israeli conflict is a sign of his friendship or he would have mucked it up like he's done Iraq, Afghanistan and the American homeland.
Newt Gingrich made a good point that Democrats could have sounded less defensive (perhaps, even guilty) if they would have agreed with Bush that the world cannot expect to "appease" terrorist countries or organizations through unconditional negotiations . Instead, they took the defensive like a kid who gets caught in a lie and turns it back on the parent by saying that the parent doesn't trust them.

Barack Obama not only has a minister who is virulently anti-Israel, but is a long time former colleague and friend of Prof. Khalidi of Columbia University, who has been a PLO supporter and apologist for Palestinian terrorist acts against Israel.
One of Obama's Middle East advisers, Robert Malley, blames Israel for lack of peace though Israel uprooted Gaza Israelis who lived there many years and left behind homes, businesses and schools.
In response to this sacrifice , Gazans elected Hamas terrorist leaders who daily send rockets into Sderot, an Israeli town, killing and maiming children and innocent civilians.

Answer- Iran is on check because it is surrounded. To it's West in Afghanistan and to the East in Iraq. They can not even send guns to Iraq without us reporting it tommorows news paper. We will be building the largest "CIA" Observatory in the world right down the street from Mahmoud Ahmadinejad House. These opertions.
Should keep things in check for quite some time.
As we speak CIA agenst and new arab linguist in Iraq are pouring into the area with CIA agents and intercept there intellegcnce and move into to terror cells easir by being Iraq which maked American, Isreal and the world safer.Our being in Iraq has made us more safe because we have intellegence on teh ground.. remmber it was false intellengene that got us into war with Iraq. Now Bush is solving the problem by going to the place of operation that the terriost launch attacks at. We are there neighbors now..kinda like Mr.Rogers but with AK 47's..
