Wow, what better way to show republicans good side than by showing democrats bad sides...however I dont think you want to use quotables as your source for ammunition. The quotables from the republican presidents regarding race and status easily outweigh those.

Also tend to think that there is racism on both sides. It seems to me that you and a lot of other people feel that just because yu belong to a particular organization, that they are angels. That simply isnt the case because its not reality.

The point isn't to say, "We're good because these guys are bad." It's to show that despite all of their bluff and bluster about being the only party for minorities in the nation, the Democrats are just as succeptible to having those types of elements within their ranks as the Republicans. Further, I would contend that the particularly outspoken nature of major Democrat figures in very recent years is a large strike against them.

Also, don't think that a list of Democrat quotes wouldn't stand up if Republican presidential remarks were listed. Keep in mind that the Democrat party were the obstructionists in the government against the Civil Rights movement and still has the most KKK members ever to serve in office under their party.

Oh man I am so glad I found this site!! I have been saying for years that Black Republicans are the key to the future of this country, as they get it, and are for INDIVIDUAL LIBERTY, not govt based on group rights. I commend you for pointing out the racist history and hypocrisy of the LEFT in America. Keep it up!

Black Republicans.... that's almost an oxymoron. That's like a person who's racist towards their own race. Everyone knows Republicans are historically known to be racist towards "minorities" as they would label us. Everyone knows Republicans are way more racist than democrats. These quotes don't do much to help your side as racist quotes from the Republican side would crush all of these in terms of being negative. But you have your beliefs so believe what you want. When it comes down to it, Democrats and Republicans are all the same. As much as they try to deny it, their base principals barely stray from each other with small issue differences but similar belief structures. Republicans wouldn't be so bad if there weren't so many neo-conservatives out there. But it's not like they'll open their eyes...

I don't understand the title nor the contents of Hip Hop Republican. It's like being a pregnant virgin. It does not make sense. Hip Hop was derived from African Americans who were not heard and through music they could get their feelings out. The Republican Administration has not let Hip Hop nor many other minority venues speak out without lashing at the artists. I don't see republicans in the hood like Obama did. Chicago is no joke, I'm from there and he helped people. What has a republican done for you lately? I honestly think this website was created by the KKK and cleverly titled it Hip Hop Republican. There is no way a person of color is in their right mind reading this mess about Democratics!

You posting racist comments of only the Democrat party only proves the lack of sense Black Republicans have. I think had you have placed along side the recent Republican party racist comments and doings, you might have actually been hit with a bit of common sense.
LOL - Blessings to you. I definitely keep you all in my prayers, cause you all need it.

Democrats are closet racists. It's too bad half of our country doesn't seem to get that. You can present all the examples you want and the voters still turn a blind eye on it. Democrats do a really good job of projecting all of their own flaws on conservatives. Why is it that Democrats who have been in charge politically in black neighborhoods for the last 40 years can't improve the lives of those they claim to serve?

Ive never seen anything like this in my life. Black Republicans??? I mean I always knew they exsisted, but wow you guys sound just like white republicans. Please come on over to the good side, the real side. And also why is this site called hiphop republicans. It has nothing to do with hiphop. I bet 95% of republicans dont even know what hiphop is! You guys must be rich or never grew up poor. Or maybe the rich white republicans paid your tiny group to create this site. Because any struggling blackperson in their right mind would never vote for a republican!

Actually, "black democrat" is an oxymoron. It's like saying "black confederate". Study your history and you'll find that republican abolitionists declared war against democratic slave-drivers and forced them to free their slaves (i.e. men, women and children that they kidnapped from Africa). I'm sure the courageous, former slaves who fought and died side by side with their republican brothers-in-arms would be appalled to see that the African-American community has abandoned the party of Lincoln for the party of the confederacy.

Question: If the African-American community is "oppressed" and "held back", why don't they elect new leadership? They like to blame republicans for their plight but do not elect republicans... so how could they have anything to do with it? Perhaps the blame should be directed at their own failed leadership? Maybe if they'd give republicans a chance, they'd find out why they are so "successful" and "rich"...

I don't think most of you understand the point of this post at all. Republicans are automatically assumed to be evil and racist and they hate everything that isn't exactly like them and etc... Please, give me a break.

The point of this article was to show that the beloved Democrats, the party of equality and unity, the party of minorities and the oppressed, the party of entitlements and tax tax tax, is just as or is more racist than the Republicans have ever been. You know who voted against civil rights? Democrats.

You all need to wake up and smell the coffee here. The Democrats aren't your saviors, they don't have your best interests at heart. In order to be a successful Democrat you must be able to keep as many people dependent upon the government as possible. Without that dependence there would be no need for the extent and breadth of so many social government programs that only serve to keep people of all races impoverished and destitute, but still holding on for the next Democrat who will make it all better.
