"If You Don't Know, Now You Know"
For my friends and acquaintances that haven't figured it out yet: I've gone through a political rebirth. I'm no longer a Democrat or a Liberal(at least in the modern sense of the word). I no longer respect or admire Socialism. The party that best accomodates what I believe is the Republican Party.
While I am fully aware of the darker chapters of American history, I am still proud of this country and believe in the principles it was founded upon. Since I have "left the plantation" I do not believe that Black Americans need massive government assistance and intervention to succeed. I find the very idea that we can't do anything without Ol Massa's help to be very racist and negative. I believe that to get out of our current state depending on the government, or even a political party alone, is not the answer.
I welcome any debate on my views. But come with the facts. The tired " Republicans are all racists who want to send Blacks back to cotton plantations" "you are a sellout/uncle tom" kines will not work with me. If you approach me with such stupidity I will laugh at you. Then I will use facts and history to demolish your arguments, and I will enjoy doing so. And if you happen to share my views, I look forward to building with you and discussing our common views.

Whew! That’s a heavy challenge there partner. “No longer a Dem or a Lib”, hmmmm, considering the fact that they are both two different heads on the same serpent-like slithering body you’re not saying much. The only difference is who can bomb Arabs gently or through “shock and awe”, who can fill up the bank accounts of Lockheed-Martin, Boeing and Raytheon quicker, who can put out more fear-factor crayon colored terror alerts, and who will get us to Peak Oil faster.
Since you’re fully aware of the “darker” (no pun intended) chapters of American Imperialism, ahem history then I don’t need to make this a Wikipedia entry, since the Dems and Repugs all had a hand in relocating Native Americans, Africans, Mexicans, Hawaiians, and if they weren’t relocating they were eliminating Vietnamese, Cambodians, Filipino’s, Iraqis, Afghanis, Iranians, Somalis, Ethiopians, Haitians, Panamanians, Libyans, Japanese, Koreans (did I miss someone?). Either through proxy wars, full scale conflicts or CIA sponsored uprisings. All in the name of free-markets, fossil fuels, agriculture and strategic positioning; from Manifest Destiny, to McCarthyism, to the fake war on terror. With that said it is obvious I or “we” do not even need to play the race card with any political party being pro-Black or anti-Black, when they are both pro-WAR, pro-BIG BUSINESS, pro-GLOBALIZATION, anti-CONSTITUTION.
After reading your description I come to the conclusion that:
You support a free market Africa (e.g. WTO and IMF blackmailing African nations OR a new Wal-mart in Uganda while there is a civil war because their puppet president caters to his U.S bosses and not his citizens)
Avid political junkie: Says nothing, just tells me you tune into FOX News for your daily propaganda fix
Since you are a lover of history you should not be surprised at my revelations above, that is unless you pick and choose your history references (or read distorted history).
Official neocon: Need I comment, considering where these New (neo) con-men (con) have this planet heading too. Through rigging elections, oil politics, reduction of civil liberties, manufactured terrorist, or recharging the arms race battery. I’ll be shocked if your blog is still active in the next year or two considering the internet bills they are passing. This also tells me you probably use your flag as a blanket to keep you warm at night, or a magnetic American (support our troops bumper magnets) while sending them off to liberate Iraqis from their oil fields, all from the comfort of your own home.
Favorite repug is John McCain tells me you have some kind of attraction to Vietnam War criminals, war-hawks, and intelligent design Bible thumpers.
There you see? I haven’t played the race card. Now I will because any “Black” person that supports this agenda, which has NONE of our interests involved has mental issues. Any person of ANY color who supports this agenda has mental issues, that is unless you’re a Skull N’ Bonesman, a puppet politician, the CEO of a multi-national corporation paying 15 cents an hr to 12 year old girls in Taiwan or you get the best parking spot at EXXON/MOBIL HQ. And if you are the common man/woman thinking they will give you a slice of that pizza just because you voted republican in a rigged electronic voting machine you are fooling yourself.
