Lashing out at people who call us Uncle Toms and Sellouts?

My whole family and friends calls me a uncle tom and sellout cuz I like bush, I dont know what to do since they are my blood and friends, they think its funny that we are looseing the war in iraq, and they call me a house niggia to George Bush's party.

Do you guys think I should tell them to go to hell because my own momma hates the fact im a republican?

I feel ur pain. My whole family is the same way. I tell them all the time how I feel. Don't let them stop you from expressing yourself. You know your beleifs to be true. Ask them this name one thing Clinton did to help blacks. I bet you they couldnt name one thing. See you must understand that the only way Democrats see to keep the black vote is to envoke them with fear. Fear of racism. They are blinded by the truth with that fear af racism. Because we are taught that Democrats are good for black though the things they support hurt us.

I deal with constantly with my family. The things they say are so stupid they confuse themselves. They never really pay attention to what democrats do they only payattention to what democrats swear republicans will do. Like John Kerry telling the Black Cacus(I think I spelled it right) not to vote for Bush because he will re-enstate segregation???

Come on now but, low and behold people were cheering. Common sense should tell you that's bull. But to many Black people have this thing that dems were once there and will always be. It's not true but, we as Black Republicans espically can not back down we must spread our message so we can hopefully reach more of our people.




I experience that almost daily.....My solution?? Most of the time I just laugh at them. It's a shame that people don't like to research and find out for themselves. Unless someone is truly interested in my views then I will share, other than that I shall not be ridiculed because of their ignorance!!

I usually tell people that ask me ( why are you a republican), well why are you a democrat? If you line up everything that the dems "so-called" did for black folks you will find absolutely nothing! The dems have hoodwinked us too long...and yes it is fear!! You are right my sister! F E A R!!! I can think for myself thatnk you!

Also, I ask these say people...What do you stand for?? Abortion? Same-Sex marriage? the Big Government? When they answer NO! Well I answer that's what your party endorses! So I ask them again....Why are you a democrat? I can most eloquently tell you why I am a republican, but can you tell me exactly why you are democrat?

They usually leave in silence.

HONEY, I TOO KNOW HOW YOU FEEL!

MY HUSBAND WHO IS BLACK{DARK SKIN, JUICY LIPS, LARGE NOSE}, BEST LOOKING MAN I'VE EVER SEEN! WAS THE FIRST IN BOTH OF OUR FAMILIES TO SWITCH TO THE REPUBLICAN PARTY AND HE WAS CALLED "WHITE BOY", "UNCLE TOM", "BROWN-NOSER". I GOT THE SAME WHEN I CHANGED PARTY AFFILIATIONS.

MY CHILDREN ARE ALL EXHIBITING SIGNS OF JOINING THE REPUBLICAN PARTY WHEN THEY BECOME OF AGE.[THEY'RE PRETTY SMART KIDS]

DURING THIS PAST PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN, MY CHILDREN WANTED TO SHOW A STANCE FOR THE REPUBLICAN PARTY, SO WE PUT UP SIGNS IN OUR FRONT YARD {IN AN ALL DEMOCRATIC NEIGHBORHOOD} AND HAD STICKERS ON OUR VAN. WE EVEN STOOD AT A VERY BUSY INTERSECTION DURING THE EVENING RUSH HOUR PROMOTING GEORGE BUSH AND THE REPUBLICAN TICKET.
YOU SHOULD HAVE HEARD SOME OF THE THINGS THAT I WAS CALLED AS THE CARS DROVE BY! MOST OF OUR SIGNS HAD THINGS SUCH AS "which of us eight would you have killed?" OR "stop partial birth abortions!" AND "SOME BLACKS DO THINK FOR THEMSELVES! VOTE REPUBLICAN!"

ONE YOUNG BLACK LADY(IN HER EARLY 20'S) SCREAMED AT ME FROM OUT OF HER ESCALADE~ "YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF!" I SCREAMED BACK "WHY? BECAUSE I DON'T BELIEVE IN THE GENOCIDE OF OUR RACE?"
sHE CONTINUED TO SAY THAT I WAS DOING MY CHILDREN A DIS-SERVICE BY MAKING THEM STAND OUT THERE HOLDING SUCH SIGNS! I TOLD HER TO GET OUT OF THE CAR & TALK-- SHE DROVE ON CUSSING AS SHE WENT.

WE LIVE IN PITTSBURGH AND IT HAS BEEN A DEMOCRATICALLY RAN CITY FOR EONS~ NOT ONE TING HAS VBEEN DONE TO IMPROVE THE BLACK SITUATION HERE. OUR GHETTOS HAVE GOTTTEN LARGER AND THE DEPENDANCY ON THE GOVERNMENT TO SUPPORT OUR FAMILIES HAVE GROWN. WE CAN'T OPEN OUR OWN BUSINESSES BECAUSE THEY TAX YOU BEFORE YOU EVEN MAKE A DOLLAR!
BUT TOO MANY OF US ARE LOOKING TO "UNCLE SAM" TO REMDY OUR SITUATIONS! I SAY GET THE GOVERNMENT OUT OF MY BUSINESS AND LET ME MAKE A LIVING!
THE MORE WE ASK FOR HELP, THE CLOSER TO SLAVERY WE GET!
OUR PEOPLE DON'T EVEN KNOW THE HISTORY OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY, AND THE HATRED THEY HAD AND STILL HAVE FOR THE BLACK PEOPLE.

I AM READING THOMAS SOWELL'S "BLACK REDNECK WHITE LIBERAL" VERY INTERESTING! AND AS A FAMILY WE WATCHED PBS' PRESENTATION OF THE RECONSTRUCTION. IT HAS TAUGHT MY CHILDREN SO MUCH.
BUT HOW DO WE GET THE REST OF OUR RACE TO LISTEN AND TO LEARN?
MY PRAYERS GO OUT FOR THOSE OF US WHO STRUGGLE TO LIVE AND LEARN THE TRUTH OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY AND THIER REAL AGENDA.
