Fake Immigration Rally!
I only saw a little bit of the students but I heard interviews with them on the radio. They can hardley articulate why they're marching in the streets.
Apparently the L.A. Times has a story of how hispanic radio was the major factor in getting so many people out to this rally.
It was sad to see so many ignorant kids, ditching school and screaming pride in their "raza (race)" rather than, at least, saying they want to become Americans, love America, etc... But this emphasis on the country of their parents birth (I'll bet most are native born Americans) and talk of "raza" is perpetually disgusting. As Victor Davis Hanson said in his book Mexifornia, would we allow talk by people of German ancestry, of the greatness of their "volk?" Cries of racial supremacy would fill the airwaves. How then can this be tolerated with the "raza" talk?
Anyone have anything to say about the big March that happened in LA? And how about the way the Senate Judiciary Panel is handling it? What are your opinions? You feel that this will damage the economy? Make it stronger?
