Assigning Blame

How often have you heard conservatives tell blacks to stop blaming whites for their problems, or that they are practicing victomology??

What I find funny is that these same conservatives who tell blacks NOT to assign blame turn around and assign blame to liberals for all the failings in America.

Just thought I would toss that out.

Blaming white people as a race and blaming a bunch of good-for-nothing socialists is not the same thing. Liberal policies have done more harm to blacks as a race than any one particular white person or whites as a race of people.

Well I have to take the Bill Cosby stance on this and say that I agree. Blacks DO need to stop blaming white for problems created andmaintained within their community. As for liberals, its different because I think that liberals CAN be blamed liberal and at times socialist policies that hurt America. The difference is that Liberals when elected have the power to make a wreck of things with bad policies. Whites for the most part cannot influence blacks to do such things as increase their marriage rate, and rebuild the concept of the black American in a traditional family unit.

Liberals who promote taxing the producers of wealth to pay for state-run social programs that almost all of the producers aren't eligible for (e.g. Food Stamps, Welfare, Section 8, Medicare, Medicaid) are at a minimum, socialist idealogues.

These programs have socially engineered the removal of drive and pride from many, if not most black people. At least when poor blacks had to work for a check (or even work to avoid the master's whip) they had pride in what they did and they looked forward to a better day for themselves and future generations. People tried to make things better back then.

The social welfare systems implemented in the 1960s turned the emerging post civil rights economic rainbow upside down, and here we are almost 50 years later and it's _still_ broken. Most blacks are simply pawns for yet another liberal policy. It's a royal shame.

That is one of the best comments I've read in a long time. You hit the nail right on the head.
