My view on Reperations!

I have thought often about the reperations argument, I do not support the mission or movement, but I do belive that slavery has taken an enormous toll on black folks. I am not sure also whether black folks would have been any better culturaly and econmicaly, had we stayed in western Africa. Also the repertaions movement assumes that America must be some what of a gentile giant to request such a thing. Also millions have been used through the federal goverment to help African Americans, no other goverment in the world has used so much money on its minorities welfare.Such things as cruelty,poverty,suffering will always be with us.If the govement gave African Americans reperations these things would not end. Our lord and savior Jessus Christ even tells Judas, "remeber Judas you will always have the poor with you". So I belive poverty and crime, and suffering are a part of life, but compassionate goverments can surely try to lessen such burdens. I think the best form of reperations, should be finaced through education,health and a good family structure. Strong families and a strong moral frame work of respect these must me given to ensure a lasting black legacy.
